This complementary collaboration will strengthen the worldwide renowned skills in France and in Japan on Porous Coordination Polymer (PCP) and their applications. This high level scientific partnership involves top researchers in Japan, such as Distinguished Doctor Susumu Kitagawa, leader in characterization of PCP and in France, Dr. David Farrusseng and François-Xavier Coudert, high-ranked researchers from IRCELYON (Institut de recherches sur la catalyse et l’environnement de Lyon) and from the Institut de Recherche de Chimie Paris (IRCP), experts in Catalysis and in molecular simulation and modelization, and in gas separation, respectively.

This ambitious partnership will complete the ongoing activities with Japan on this modern thematic, where France has great scientific assets and with possible innovations in adsorption, separation and catalytic processes, of high interests for Air Liquide, which contributes this partnership.
